Go Paxico! is a volunteer-run, non-profit officially incorporated with the State of Kansas and registered with the IRS. The Toenjes family kicked things off "unofficially" in 2024 with a fun (and first-ever) Christmas lights competition in town and spectacular light displays in the park and at city businesses. In 2025, along with the Sweden family, it was decided that an organization be formed to help with fundraising, planning and visibility.

The Go Paxico! mission is simple: to celebrate Paxico's heritage and bring the community together throughout the year for holiday events, social gatherings and cultural happenings.
